Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel offered a beautiful view of the castle straight ahead and the staff were extremely helpful, although the room felt a bit claustrophobic and could use some maintenance. It was sold as deluxe but matched typical chain hotel rooms. The service was superb, especially for guests visiting the Antiques Fair on Lincoln Showground, covering all necessary tasks with a warm and friendly approach. The location was prime for exploring the cathedral and castle area, accessible easily on foot. The dining experience varied from delicious to disappointing, but overall good.
The hotel offers a beautiful view of the Cathedral, which is within walking distance. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and some had a view of the cathedral towers. The restaurant provided very good meals with a lovely wine list, and the service was exceptionally friendly, though there was occasional noise from the room above. Overall, a pleasant stay with a charming atmosphere.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and well-equipped, although the decor could use a refresh. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The central location was ideal for exploring the castle and cathedral, despite some early closing times. The dining experience offered a good variety of fresh options. The facilities were satisfactory, catering to my needs during my stay.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with clean and comfortable rooms but faces challenges with room temperature control. The service provided is friendly but can be slow at times. The location is fantastic for exploring the Castle and Cathedral, although the dining options may not meet expectations. Overall, good value for money with some room for improvement.
