i stayed in the king room for two nights, and i was very pleased with the ample space. the bathroom included both a large shower and a separate bathtub. i found the room had effective soundproofing, which really made a difference.
the bar lacked a bit of atmosphere.

breakfast had plenty of choice and the quality seemed really high. i saw various options available, including a full english and lighter fare like pastries and fruit. the staff were attentive and kept the buffet well-stocked. it was really nice!

The hotel offers convenient parking outside the room, a plus. the location is excellent, especially if you plan to visit the cathedral and castle. i was able to easily walk to most attractions from the hotel. I found it very useful.

I stayed in the junior suite, it was just as fantastic as i remembered. the room is spacious, super clean, and comfortable. the view of the castle walls from the window really adds to the experience. The shower pressure is excellent.
I parked in the hotel parking. I was told this was only really for people who had booked straight through the hotel website. thankfully, it was ok and i didn't need to move. it was a bit unclear.

Acceptable Stay with Some Shortcomings
inadequate acdry sausage
The room lacked air conditioning, a problem because the window could not be opened due to pigeons. The provided tower fan did little to combat the heat. Breakfast was also disappointing. My vegetarian sausages seemed microwaved and had a cold center. My partner said her sausage was dry, a sign of batch cooking gone wrong (she usually eats everything!).
